HISTORY OF LONE PEAK TRACK In the 11 years that Lone Peak has been open, the LPHS Track program
has won 3 region championships and 2 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Lone Peak has graduated many state top three finishers including—*Misty
Jorgensen (100 M, 200 M, 4 x 100 relay), Autumn Allen (100 M), Chris
McConnell (100 M hurdles, 300 M hurdles), Brad Ballard (shot put),
*Rich Larsen (high jump record holder), Joe Larsen (high jump and long
jump), *Jana McKinney (high jump and 100 M hurdles), David Apple (100,
200M), Jen Eldredge (discus), Elise Ekloff (shotput), *Meagan Anderson
(100 M), Jennifer Kaplar (hurdles), Carly Lords (shotput and discus),
*Lorenzo DiRegolo (javelin), *Chris Smith (high jump), Sterling Clegg
(high jump),Corey Stilson (pole vault), Chelsey Kaplar (300 M hurdles),
Katie Bowen (3200 M), Jackie Fotu (javelin), *Aaron Kay (Pole Vault),
Alan Beck (High Jump).
*First Place Eighteen former LP track athletes have also received college
track scholarships including: Brad Ballard at Army, Lisa Antonelli
at BYU, Misty Jorgensen of BYU and Weber State, Jana McKinney, Meagan
Anderson, and Seth Wold at Utah State, Tamsin Long, Jennifer Kaplar,
and Chelsea Kaplar at University of Utah, Carley Williams at CEU,
Rich Larsen, David Apple, Janene Whitely, Alan Beck, and Aaron Kay at
UVSC and Katie Bowen at Weber State and then BYU, Jordan Johnson at
SUU, TJ Fox at Weber State.
