Academic Assistance After School

The Academic Assistance Center in room 137 will be open for business beginning Monday, Sept. 8.
Students who need help with homework, specifically Math, Science or English (includes writing papers for other classes) are encouraged to attend.
Monday 1:15 - 2:30

Tuesday 2:30 - 4:00 PM - English
Wednesday 2:30 - 4:00 PM - Science
Thursday 2:30 - 4:00 PM - Math

Options for Earning Outside Credit

I.          BYU Independent Study (High School Students)

            •     Lessons through the mail or on-line
            •     Fee: $121.00 per .50 credits for most courses plus books if needed

II.        Electronic High School (Utah Internet Classes)

            •      Free to Utah students

III.       East Shore High School – Additional Credit Students (SSN required)

            •   Must be enrolled in at least 5 classes per term at LPHS
            •   8 packets = 1 credit
            •   Fee: $50.00 registration + $25.00 per packet
                 ** $75.00 minimum initial payment

IV.       East Shore High School – Part Time Students (SSN required)

•     Can only be enrolled in 4 classes or less per term at LPHS

Mandatory attendance

Must earn at least 1.75 credits each term (LPHS and ESHS). If not maintained, student will be asked to return to high school full time or enroll in ESHS full time.

• Fee: $115.00 fee covers all credit earned until May 31

V. Alpine School District Extended Year (Summer School)

Two terms – June 1-19 and June 24-July 16
